Angels We Have Heard

The Angelic Chorus sang to lowly shepherds in the Christmas story. On Tuesdays, as they wait to receive bags of food and bus tickets, homeless people are entertained by Angels. Kay Hollingsworth, amazing violinist, and David Haney, composer and cello player, practice every Tuesday at church. Thank You, Kay and David!
We also have angels in our choir loft. Dedicated choir members come from far and wide (some drive for two hours) to get to a Wednesday practice. Other have been members of the choir for over twenty years. These Angelic choir members are directed by “Saint Dennis Coleman.” Join us Christmas Eve at 10:00 PM and “Hear the Angels Sing.” Thank you choir, you have blessed my heart and touched many people Sunday after Sunday.
Angels bless every one they see. Traditionally, a Pastor is supposed to be the person who blesses the congregation. In my time of serving as your Pastor, I have watched as you have blessed many pastors, namely, Jim, Donald, Paul, and now Kevin. Each has shared with me stories of your hospitality and love. I, too, have been so richly blessed by the smile of newborn little Spencer to the grace and joy of our eldest member, Bob Ladd, who turns 92 this month. Each of you, your honestly, your smiles, your advice, and your willingness to call me friend, has filled me up to overflowing. May you be filled with new blessings, phenomenal opportunities, and God’s Peace.
Thank You!
Rev. Linda Roddis
