Reformation Studies

The month of October 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation when Martin Luther allegedly posted his 95 theses against the Catholic Church on the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church.  Journey with us as we delve into the life and theology of Martin Luther through lecture, documentary films, and discussion. The series runs Sundays at 9am in the Chapel for the month of October. On October 22nd, we will view “Reformation: The Individual Before God,” from Oxford church historian Diarmaid MacCulloch’s series on the history of Christianity. If there is interest, there will be a final session on October 29th.  During this time we will discuss the impact of the Reformation and address questions from the first 3 meetings.  All are invited to listen, discuss, and learn.
