Money Matters: An educational discussion group
This group meets meets Sundays April 19th - May 17th from 9:15am to 10:30am. Jim Powell, a long time member and stockbroker will lead us in discussion. Sunday Service takes place in the sanctuary. Most Sundays, our Choir brings songs of worship into this session. “On American Soil:” The story of the Fort Lawton race riot court martials 12:00pm
Jack Hamann, author of On American Soil, will describe the Fort Lawton case and the role our own HOWARD NOYD played in it, as one of the defense attorneys for the accused black soldiers. Howard is the last surviving member of the legal teams. There will be copies of the books available for purchase.
Parenting Class - Ignite the Greatness of Our Children 12:15pm
Children's Ministry Committee is once again offering a Parenting Class facilitated by Tammy Small, M.Ed. Tammy has been a school counselor and parent educator for over 25 years and is a certified Nurtured Heart coach. The class will meet on April 26, May 3,17 & 31 from 12:15pm to 1:45pm in Room 100.
