Congregations for the Homeless

There will be a meeting for all Congregations for the Homeless volunteers who have contact with the men on Sunday Nov. 9th right after church in Room 100! This will be a very short (20 to 30 min.) informational meeting given by David Johns Bowling the CFH Shelter Director to bring us up to date on volunteering with CFH. Please plan to attend. I will bring treats!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to open the church from 7-8 PM for the men in November. There are still some nights that need volunteers, especially Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you haven’t done this before, this is not hard work.  A CFH volunteer and the men do most of the work. We (Bellevue First Congregational) really act as helpers, receiving the dinner meal from Sacred Heart and welcoming the men. Give it a try!
