How to Find Yourself in Our Church

Sunday services are a great beginning. But for many, the richness of the experience at First Congregational can be broadened and deepened by getting involved in the many other activities happening on Sundays or throughout the week. You can explore interesting topics with other adults through discussion groups, participate in a hobby with others, join a musical group, or even share your energy and enthusiasm to help part of the church run even better.

First Congregational is “community” that is governed through our congregational meetings (with food!), held quarterly. Child care is also available during the meeting. Between congregation meetings, decisions are made by the Church Council, which meets monthly.

Anyone who has visited the church is also welcome to register on the site, so you can see leader, member, and event information about any group, making it even easier to for you to become a part of it.

How to Find Our Church

Visiting Bellevue First Congregational Church for the first time? Everyone is welcome, and services are generally at 8:30 am in the Chapel and 10:30 am in the Sanctuary. Check the calendar for details.

Our church is located in the heart of downtown Bellevue at the intersection NE 8th Street and 108th Avenue NE. Ample free parking is available behind the church, but directions to the lot differ, depending upon which way you’re driving:

• From I-405 on NE 8th Street: Turn left on 106th (a block before the church), then right after the first building.
• From Bellevue Square on NE 8th Street: Immediately past the church (green roof), turn right into the parking lot.
• From South or North Bellevue on 108th Ave NE: At the two-story building just south of the church, turn into the alley and drive through to the church parking lot.

NOTE: Whichever direction you choose, park in the section of the lot closest to the church. These stalls are for church users only.

When you enter our doors, stop by our Welcome Board, where you’ll find a map of the building with locations for childcare, adult education opportunities, coffee hour, and other activities. You’ll also get a visitor kit to help make the first-time experience more rewarding. See you Sunday!
