Outdoor Ministries

The Pacific Northwest Conference of the UCC has two camp/retreat centers that offer summer camps throughout the summer as well as conference-wide retreats for men, women and youth. In addition the camps are used by individual churches for their own retreats and camps. The Camp N-Sid-Sen is located just 50 miles from Spokane on Lake Coeur d ‘Alene and Pilgrim Firs is located in western Washington on the Kitsap Penninsula.

The camp schedule for both camps is available by visiting their websites.  There are camps offered at both locations for kids in grade school, middle school and high school as well as family camps, work camps and a GLBTQ camp. In addition to attending as a camper, there are needs for camp directors, counselors, resource people, musicians (guitar), crafts etc. Please contact the Site Managers listed for either camp to learn more about the opportunities to be involved in this important outdoor ministry.
