Community Groups

Our church is far more than the building you see from the street or even the people who enter it every Sunday morning. Its a living, pulsing community of people looking to build networks of friends, help others in need, grow spiritually, learn new skills, and join with others in the mission of leaving the world a little better than we found it. Much of that community-building activity regularly happens in meetings outside the Sunday service, in everything from musical groups to discussion groups to annual church events; your guide to this activity is this directory.

We encourage all who are visitors, friends, and our current members to participate in any of these opportunities.  Joining in will not only help you get to know us and help us get to know you but will deepen your relationship with our church family.

  Phase of Life Groups

  From youth groups to empty nesters, there's a phase-of-life group just for you.

  Education Groups

  Beneath any strong, ethical, empathetic person of character is a dependable foundation of faith. That faith can come from many sources, but it thrives in groups that explore faith in today's world.

  Service Groups

  Service groups focus on making a difference in the community, from feeding the poor and hungry to fixing up the church building itself.

  Musical Groups

  There's a special camaraderie that develops when you learn to sing together or learn new musical skills as one in a musical group.

  Discussion Groups

  Diversity of thought energizes discussions; in the words of one discussion group member, "How do you know you're working if your buttons don't get pushed once in a while?"
