World Outreach Committee

Currently, we have two focus areas of World Outreach that the congregation is engaged in.  For quite some years we have been sponsoring the building of houses in Kenya and have built nearly 50 houses to date through our financial support with Habitat for Humanity in Kenya. The  committee stays in touch with our Kenyan partners and celebrates the building of each new home.   The committee leader for this area is Sue Paules.  Please contact her if you would like to work in this area.

The other main area of focus began in 2007 and has been in the area of Microcredit aiding the poorest of poor around the world through the gift of small loans to create self sustainable business opportunities to those who would have no other means to support themselves or family.  To learn more about this effort please see the Microcredit area.
