Outreach Commission

We are called to minister compassionately to those beyond our membership with justice, love, and mercy.  The Outreach Commission acts as a bridge between the congregation and the local and regional community as well as the wider world by providing opportunities to serve areas in need with our stewardship gifts of time, talent and finances. 

The Commission helps the church go beyond its four walls, targeting special problems and opportunities that serve the community and world; administers the Outreach budget, selects recipient agencies of five special outreach offerings, and maintains ties with Our Church’s Wider Mission, UCC. Initiates awareness of social and political issues confronting the community.

Currently, there are thirteen committees with the Outreach Commission, with the Commission itself operating as a regularly schedule committee coordinating and supporting these efforts. These are:
