Crop Walk Committee
Each year, eight to twelve Eastside churches organize a 3.5-mile walk through downtown Bellevue to raise money for Church World Service's hunger relief work and two local agencies (Hopelink and the Emergency Feeding Program). As we walk, we build community among different congregations and religions, and we also let the Eastside know we're here! We've raised well over $100,000 since the Bellevue CROP Walk began seven years ago.
The next CROP Walk will take place on Sunday, May 3rd, 2009, with step-off at 1 PM. For more information go to www.BellevueCropWalk.org or send an e-mail to Nancy Bent by clicking Contact Group Leader.
