Congregational Care Commission

From home visits to driving to card-writing, there are a variety of ongoing “inreach” opportunities to reach out to our own members in need to build a stronger, compassionate community. The CCC assures that Members and Friends of Bellevue First Congregational Church who are in need are aware of and are supported by the church’s diverse Care functions. The CCC is the central clearinghouse for all Congregational Care services provided by the church. The CCC’s mission is to assure the availability of Care when it is needed, and to recruit Members and Friends to participate in existing Care systems on an ongoing basis, as an integral part of Congregational Life.

Activities Sponsored by the Congregational Care Commission

  • Care Communities – Our large, geographically-diverse congregation is divided into 10 care communities. Your community provides links to members and friends of the congregation who are within the same general neighborhood in which you live. Within a care community, members may be called upon to bring meals to someone recovering from accident or illness, to provide transportation, or to join in a social gathering to get to know other members of our congregation.
