Alphabetical Groups Listing

Sunday church services provide insight into what a church is like, but the real community happens at other times. When you share interest and passion with others of different backgrounds, you develop appreciation, understanding, relationships and community. Here are dozens of ways to do that…and even a way to start entirely new community groups.

Adult Ministries

Plans include a wide range of educational enrichment classes for adults, primarily during the Sunday morning Discovery Hour.

Angeline’s Eastside Women’s Center

In partnership with the YWCA, we offer a safe, day-time environment for homeless women. From 9-3 on weekdays, Angeline's Eastside Women's Center is a warm place where women can come to shower, wash clothes, receive lunch, career counseling, nursing care and other resources.

Bridge Group

There are a number of bridge players who gather to play and teach others all about bridge. Hosts and interested players are still needed to make this become a monthly occurrence.

Cancer Support and Education Series

Cancer Support and Educational Group is lead by Dr. Norma Lee adn Pastor Roddis. Norma offers us a cancer course 101, answering questions and leading in supportive discussion. Come share your story and ask your questions. Sundays 9:30am in Lindgren Lounge

Card & Note Brigade

This group sends cards and notes of support to those who are suffering and messages of congratulations and joy to those who are celebrating happy events such as births and weddings. Be a 'Care Steward' and write notes of comfort. Be a 'Joy Steward' and send notes of congratulation and shared pleasure. Be both! Our goal is to make sure everyone in touched by the community, whether in sadness or in joy.
